For me, getting involved in the Senior Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association has been one of the nice things to come out of COVID. As I’ve written in the past, the passing of both of my parents in March of 2020, gave me pause about where I want to focus my own professional energies in the coming years. I now spend a portion of my time working with senior lawyers who are thinking about their Next Stage. I’ve also been profiling inspiring senior attorneys for the SLD’s Voice of Experience. In this issue, I was pleased to be spotlighted myself. Special thanks for Carole Worthington the Chair of the SLD and Jim Schwartz, the Chair-Elect who have made me feel so welcome.
